Goosebumps Skirt Knitting Pattern (English)

Goosebumps Skirt is a model with a tight fit accentuating the body’s curves working increases and decreases on each side of the side seams.

The pattern for the skirt is 2x2 rib, while the waistband is worked in 1x1 twisted rib.

The skirt is worked from the top down starting with a waist yarn tubular cast-on. The waistband is worked straight down in 1x1 twisted rib. Now the skirt is worked in 2x2 rib working increases on each side until midway on the hip. From here decreases a worked in each side. The skirt is finished with a slit in the back and a 1x1 twisted rib trim.

Choice of size

The skirt has a negative ease of 10-15 cm. This means you should choose a size measuring 10-15 cm less than your waist/hip circumference. If your hip measures 100 cm, you should choose a size M with a hip circumference of 87 cm.

1 strand of Slub Merino (400 m/ 100 g) from Painters Yarn, Fibergalore or Siestoe Fibres
