Kokomo Top Knitting Pattern (English)

Kokomo Top is a summer top with an airy and light mesh pattern.  The top is very elastic, and the sizes are therefore described according to waistline instead of chest width. The top is meant to have no ease to a slight positive ease. 

The top is worked from the bottom up on a circular needle. Starting with ribbing, and then knitted upwards in pattern following the diagram. Bind off the armholes and finish the back- and front piece individually. The armholes are finished with a thin ribbing. Finally a neckband in rib is made, also serving as straps for the top.

Knitting tension: 24 stitches • 38 rows in pattern on 3,5mm needle = 10 • 10 cm

Suggested needles: 3mm (40 cm) circular needle, 3mm and 3,5 mm circular needle (80/100/120 cm)

Materials: 1 strand Merci (50 g / 200 m) and 1 strand Paia (25 g / 240 m) from Filcolana together. Merci: 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 (200) g. Paia: 75 (75) 75 (100) 100 (100) g. Can also be made in two strands of Paia together 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 (200) g.
