Go West Cardigan English
Go West Cardigan Knitting Patter (English)
Go West Cardigan is a model with a deep v-neck, eyelet pattern and diagonal lines. The fit is cropped with batwing sleeves. But as the model is worked top down with sleeves and body in one piece, the length can easily be adjusted. The cardigan is finished with rib edges.
The work starts with the upper part of the back and front pieces, which are worked together with the sleeves as one piece. After binding off the stitches of the sleeves, the front and back pieces are joined. These are worked back and forth until desired length, and then finished with ribbing and Italian bind off.
Lastly the sleeves, plackets and neckline are finished with ribbing. Furthermore, 3 buttonholes are made along the way.
