Diamonds And Pearls Sweater Mohair Edition is a short model with voluminous puff sleeves, worked top-down. Initially the front pieces are worked with a slope due to use of short rows. The pattern of the diagram is only knit on the front side. The stitches of the back piece are knit up in the cast on edge of the front piece, so that it becomes a virtually invisible joining. Front and back pieces are joined, and the body is finished in the round. Thus, the work can be extended if you don’t want a short model. The neckband is worked in a double rib in the round with decreases and stitched together from the wrong side.

Last, but not least the sleeve stitches are knit up along the armhole, and the puff sleeve is formed by using short rows and various increase techniques. Later the stitches are gathered on a small circular needle and worked straight down. The work is finished with a dramatic decrease, to make the balloon effect, and a long ribbing.
