Zebra Beanie Knitting Pattern (English)

Zebra Beanie is a classic beanie with a turn-up. Because of the double knit stitch technique, the beanie can be turned inside out and worn both ways. The beanie is thick and warm, and the fit is tight, but the double knit stitch is stretchy.

It is knit from the bottom up i two-coloured double knit stitch as shown in the diagram. The shape is finished by decreasing on the top.

Size 4-8 years (XS/S) M/L

Fits head size 46-52 (50-56) 54-60 cm

Circumference 40 (44) 48 cm

Lenght withou/with turn-up 30/22 (31/23) 32/24 cm

Knitting gauge 21 stitches • 26 rows of double knit stitch on a 3,5 mm needle  = 10 • 10 cm

Recommended needles 3 og 3,5 mm (40 cm)

Materials 1 strand of Arwetta (210m/50g) or handdyed sock yarn fx from By Emra or Siestoe Fibres or Organic Soft merino (225m/50g) from Kaos Yarn held together with 1 strand of Tilia (210m/25g) from Filcolana or Angel from Permin or Organic Brushed Alpaca from kaos Yarn
