Kokomo Shorts English
Kokomo Shorts Knitting Pattern (English)
Kokomo Shorts are high waisted with short and wide legs. The shorts are worked bottom up so that the length of legs and waist easily can be adjusted as desired.
The legs have a beautiful picot edge at the bottom and by the waist.
Choice of size
The mesh pattern is very elastic and will stretch when used. Moreover, the gauge will vary whether the work is laid flat or worn. The works measurements and gauge presented in this pattern are measured when the work is laid flat.
Therefore, the sizes are intended to have a negative ease compared to the hip measurement. This means you should choose a size measuring 10-15 cm less than your hips (the widest circumference of your hips). For example, you should choose a size M if your hips measure 102 cm. The waist measurement is adjusted to fit your size by the use of elastic band in the drawstring hem.
