In The Air Tonight Sweater Knitting Pattern (English)

In The Air Tonight Sweater is a classic raglan sweater with a pattern consisting of mesh and cables.

It is worked bottom-up. Body and sleeves are worked individually and joined at the beginning of the yoke, which is worked with beautiful raglan seams. The neckline at the top of the yoke is shaped by working back and forth using German short row technique.

The ribbing on sleeves, body and neck are worked in a twisted rib. The ribbing in the neck is double layered for a nice finish.

Choice of size

The sweater has a positive ease of 12-17 cm. This means you should choose a size measuring 12-17 cm more than your chest circumference. If your chest measures 96 cm, you should choose a size M with a circumference of 112 cm.

The length of the body can easily be adjusted by making the ribbing longer or shorter or by adding or subtracting the number of rows worked from the diagram. It is explained how to do this in the chapter Body.
